"HI Gihan, I am truly sorry you had this experience. Bethany has worked in my office for over 6 years and I have never received a complaint like this. I am utterly shocked. I have discussed this call with her for better understanding and it appeared she followed our normal process of asking for a new address for refund and processing with your request.
As the agent, I typically do not call on renter's cancellations. This is something that my team of 22 employees is more than capable in handling. We have experienced two fire total losses, four death claims and severe flooding in our area in the past week. My priorities have pulled me in other directions in the past week.
Your post is disheartening especially working as a State Farm Agent staff member previously and knowing how damaging this is for an Agent and small business owner. If you had asked to speak to me, I return all calls and emails by end of day, everyday. I truly care about my business and my customers as you can see on the countless other 5 star reviews.
I wish you the best in your new city with your new agent. I hope he can fulfill your expectations.
Update: After our conversation, I respectfully ask that you stop asking friends to leave bad reviews for my business when they have never done business with me. This behavior is malicious and hateful and we are very confused on why we are being targeted in this way.
